Why Art Matters Here
Cyprus has been inspiring artists for millennia—from Bronze Age potters to Byzantine icon painters. We created The Gallery because that creative tradition deserves a contemporary home.
Our exhibitions change quarterly, each curated around themes exploring Cyprus identity: tradition versus modernity, the relationship between land and sea, memory and place.

Elena Constantinou — Mixed Media, 2024
"Cyprus light doesn't illuminate —
it reveals. Every shadow tells
a story the sun hasn't finished yet."
Elena Constantinou works between Nicosia and Paphos, exploring how Mediterranean light transforms landscape into memory. Her current series at The Gallery captures the Akamas peninsula across twelve months — the same cliff face, the same hour, never the same painting.

Three contemporary Cypriot painters explore how Mediterranean light shapes perception of landscape. From the olive groves of Pano Panagia to Akamas coastal cliffs, these works capture the island's ever-changing relationship with light.
